Hevo Data
Hevo prices on events: every change to a database row or every SaaS API record counts as one event. Free covers up to 1M events / month; Starter, Business, and Business Critical scale up. Event pricing rewards narrow-and-frequent sources and penalises wide-and-batched ones.source - pulled 2026-06-21

Pricing in detail
The event meter increments per row write per source. A nightly batch dump of a wide table counts every row once; a stream of small mutations on a narrow table counts every mutation. For frequent low-row updates the meter is cheap; for periodic full-table replications it can be expensive.
Business Critical adds SOC2 Type II, private-link, and stricter SLAs. Most mid-market buyers run Business tier and add Business Critical on regulated workloads.
When to pick Hevo Data
Pick Hevo when the workload is dominated by narrow streaming-style sources (clickstream, app events, CDC on small tables). Free is genuinely useful for proof-of-concept.
Avoid Hevo when the workload is heavy on wide-table replications or analytics dumps - Fivetran's MAR or Stitch's row tier will price better.
Mid-market estimate
For a 50M-MAR mid-market profile, the published rate produces an estimated subscription line of $999/mo. Business tier at ~50M events, list price snapshot Jun 2026.source - pulled 2026-06-21Run the full TCO at /tco-calculator.
